On April 10 and 11, 2025, the Islamic University of Niger hosted the joint international scientific congress organized by the Nigerien Pediatric Society (SNIPED) and the Association of French-Speaking Black African Pediatricians (APANF).

This event, supported by PPM Laboratories, brought together specialists from across French-speaking Africa to discuss topics crucial to child health, such as vaccinology, neonatology, nutrition, gastroenterology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, nephrology, hematology-oncology, and cardiology.

This international congress was part of a dynamic of South-South cooperation and the strengthening of African scientific networks. It aims to promote the sharing of experiences, the dissemination of medical innovations, and the pooling of best practices among pediatricians, researchers, and decision-makers in the region. This unique platform for exchanges, training and advocacy for better health for African children, in a context where scientific cooperation and the pooling of resources is more necessary than ever to meet the continent's health challenges.
